What’s up everyone, welcome to Little Napoli South Jersey. My name is Nunzio Savarese, I’m the sole journalist and contributor to this blog. I was born in southern New Jersey to Italian parents both from the outskirts of Naples. Being a son of restaurant owners, I grew up intrigued by questions in the industry but also something else? Naples was the birthplace of pizza so it made sense to me why many of the citizens enter the culinary industry. But my question was always why there is such prominent population of Neapolitan owned restaurants and pizzerias in the South Jersey area.
